Let us begin by saying, if you’ve never heard of Bizcochitos (pronounced “bisco-chee-tos”)—and never tasted one of ours—you’re in for a real treat!

Bizcochitos (also known as “Biscochitos” or “Bizcochos”) are a traditional Mexican shortbread-style cookie, which get their distinctive taste from anise and cinnamon-sugar coating. Usually served around the holidays throughout Mexico and the southwestern United States, it is said its recipe was first brought to the territory by the Spaniards, where it became a staple in Mexican homes for special occasions, such as weddings, baptisms, and especially... Christmas.

Simply put, we believe baking our Bizcochitos is a labor of love, and we call ours “Bizcochitos By Request” because they’re now available whenever you want them. Not just for the holidays… but all year ’round!
